Florida and a baby
Well, here I am in beautiful Florida. I am visiting my best friend, who I haven't seen in 4 or so years, and her husband and new 2 month old baby. Her baby is absolutely adorable, I love her very much, but I can't help but think that I may be a very selfish person. I watch my best friend feed the baby whenever she is hungry, no matter where we are, and jump up whenever the baby cries. She is a great mother but I keep thinking that I don't know if I could make that kind of commitment. When I am hungry I want to eat now, I don't want to wait until the baby is done eating to eat myself. If I am watching TV and am interested in the show that is on, I don't want to have to pick up the baby and console them and miss the TV show I am watching. Does this change if the baby is from you?

Ellen
Well, the Ellen show was in Tempe yesterday and gave away $5000! All you had to do was come up with 3 objects that started with an A, an S and a U. Of course I didn't go down there, had to work, but I am pretty sure I would have been more creative than the people who won (afros, safety goggles and underwear). I was going to take my snake (ball python, the S), a unicycle and then my name starts with an A. Oh, well, it wasn't meant to be I guess.

Yammer
So, at my work we use Yammer for social networking. To me it is a waste of time and resources. Do we really need a social networking site at work? We aren't allowed to visit FB though, what a rip!
State Farm Part 1
My boyfriend, I guess that is what you could call him, recently got into a car accident. I called my insurance company, State Farm, that I had been with for 18 years, to report the incident. The office told me that they would file the claim with the claim office. Two days later I still had not received any kind of correspondance from State Farm so I called the claims office. I was told at that point that there had not been a claim filed so I had to start all over with 2 days wasted. My boyfriend uses his vehicle as a work vehicle so he was out of work these 2 days, which means that we were losing money because of the oversight by the office. While talking to the claims associate I was told that my boyfriend's policy did not cover medical for him. I was pretty upset because I remembered calling my agent's office several months earlier and asked for "full-coverage" and that I wanted the coverage on my boyfriend's truck to match the car I already had on the account, which DID include medical coverage. I was told by the claims representative that I would need to call my agent to dispute the coverage. So I called my agent's office to dispute the coverage and spoke with one of the ladies that works in the office, which happen to be the person who added the coverage to the truck to begin with. After speaking with her and telling her that I did not believe they had put my coverage on the vehicle correctly I was told that she did exactly what I had asked when I called to change the coverage. I asked if there was a recording of the conversation and she said that they only took notes and the notes state that I asked for collision and comprehensive only on the policy. I told her that I would not have asked for that because I do not understand what all that entails and that I specifically asked her to add "full coverage that matches the Toyota on the account". She did not agree that is what happened so she left a message for the agent himself to call me so I could speak with him about it.
